Scholarly works spanning the breadth of Israeli academic research
The latest from Israel Academic Press
by Avi Shahaf
Based on in-depth interviews with eight Israelis and eight Palestinians, all members of the Bereaved Families Forum, this book explores the belief that it is possible to create a different life reality from one shaped by loss and violence. Together, their stories form a fragmented yet coherent mosaic of individual choices made within a shared organizational framework.
An intimate glimpse into the lives of seven Bedouin women in the Negev, all active in transforming the reality of a society in transition.
Israeli policy toward the churches and Christian communities from 1948 to the present day.
Nomadism and Land Ownership Perspectives, 1800–1967. Based on a multi-decade study of thousands of historical sources examining the Bedouin tribes in the Negev.
Israel is home to some of the best academicians around the globe. Regrettably, for too long most of their works have been unknown to the majority of the world.
Israel Academic Press (IAP) is dedicated to making the finest Israeli academic writing available worldwide — at an affordable price — to both authors and readers. We are a peer-review press with an Academic Advisory Board. It is our goal to ensure our books are available in as wide a range of formats as possible — both physical and electronic; in tandem, both in Hebrew and in English.
